Trenton’s first outdoor quilt festival in 2008 displayed several dozen quilts that were made by students at the Suwannee Valley Quilt Shoppe. Since that time, there have been seven additional outdoor quilt festivals. 2016 will bring the ninth annual quilt festival on March 19, 2016, and will showcase over thirty quilt groups and demonstrations from throughout Florida. These quilt groups will be displaying hundreds of quilts both inside and outside of Trenton’s historic buildings. The Quilt Festival will also include quilting and craft demonstrations, old time crafts, antique dealers, good food and music plus a display of antique cars and tractors.
